Ramona F. Brown Spears, 88 of Bloomington, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Bloomington Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Ramona’s celebration of life service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 3pm at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington with Rev. Susan Ballard Shepherd officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be held from 2-3pm on Monday at the funeral home.

She is survived by her children; Kim F. Brown of Bloomington, Carol Lardinois of Jerseyville, IL and Nancy (Roger) Reinhart of Waynesville, IL.  Also surviving are her grandchildren; Dustin (Miranda) Davis, Micah Davis, Lanie (Neal) Coulter and Matt (Kristi) Reinhart along with 12 great grandchildren.

Ramona was born on May 1, 1929 in Meyer, Illinois. She is the daughter of Elmer and Ruby (Downs) Froman.

She graduated from Quincy High School and Blessing School of Nursing. She worked as an Occupational Health Nurse for State Farm Insurance Company retiring in 1993.

Ramona will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
